Tucked away beside a cute little bed and breakfast, is the Broad River Coffee Shop. This storefront in Chimney Rock, NC has only six inside seats and is super dietary inclusive. After looking at their fall menu my friends decided on the Pumpkin Chai and the Pumpkin Pie Latte so I decided to try something off their consistent menu. From that the brown sugar cinnamon latte was chosen, and it was AMAZING. Also at this tiny gem is a secret star, they make homemade cinnamon rolls. They were so good none of us got a picture of them (sorry y'all) but the whole place smelled like cinnamon and yeast when we walked in, a sure sign that I'm in for a treat.
A short walk down the sidewalk leads you to a one lane bridge to a few houses on the other side of the river and this stunning view, usually it's not this crazy according to our barista, Ally. Hurricane Michael had just rolled through a couple hours before this shot was taken and seeing how much it affected the area around it was really eye opening.
