Looking back at all the blogs I've posted over the course of this class, I've realized that I have been incredibly blessed this semester to not only live in a beautiful area with such amazing options, but also to be able to afford them. Most of these dishes have been less than ten dollars. Through recent events in my friends life I have seen how much that really is. What I have noticed lately is that taking for granted the guarantee of food on my plate is something that I want to become more intentional about. To start this process I hopped on the bus and headed to the Health and Hunger Coalition to see how people with these issues live. It was really eye opening to see people huddled up with dogs and laundry as families staying warm on the bus.

Who am I?
I am an Advertising student at Appalachian State University with a love for food! I hope to one day work for a non-profit and spread their message to spread goodness. Right now I manage the social media for Marilyn's Sweet Addictions in my hometown of Lincolnton, NC which lets me combine my two loves! I hope this blog gives you insight into gems that I have found at college and in my travels. Buckle up, and get ready to eat!
